Giuseppe Parisi, born in 1981 in Germany’s Lower Rhine region and of Sicilian heritage, is based in Krefeld. Trained as a metalworker, he developed his artistic language through craftsmanship rather than an academic fine-art path. His practical knowledge of fabrication, structure, and resistance continues to shape the way he approaches both two- and three-dimensional work.
Working across painting, sculpture, and design, Parisi explores tensions between control and spontaneity, solidity and vulnerability, and the industrial and the organic. Stainless steel, industrial steel, brass, and copper are combined with wood, resin, pigment, lacquer, and other materials. His process is direct and experimental, transforming physical resistance into expressive form and allowing emotion to emerge through construction, gesture, and surface.
In June 2026, Parisi was featured in The Constant Becoming at Pashmin Art Gallery Hamburg, an international group exhibition bringing together artists from Germany, Spain, and Switzerland. The presentation marked an important step in his developing exhibition profile. Selected works are also shown in a permanent exhibition setting in Krefeld, where his painting, sculpture, and design objects can be viewed together.
