Since spring 2020, Romaine Kuonen and Hadi MohammadKhani have engaged in a profound collaboration encompassing painting and performance. This partnership has facilitated fruitful exchanges, revealing shared visions despite their divergent cultural backgrounds, and has spurred significant advancements in technical expertise and artistic endeavors within the visual arts and performance realms.

Romaine Kuonen, a contemporary artist skilled in abstract and figurative art, also serves as a Neurographic educator, coach, and event organizer. Hadi MohammadKhani, on the other hand, boasts a diverse skill set as a painter, graphic designer, contemporary movement designer, teacher, actor, and director of physical and musical theater. Together, they lead “The Body Magic Group Switzerland,” organizing global art events and performances.

Their collaborative paintings blend real and surreal narratives, intertwining tradition with their unique visions. Exhibited at the Pashminart Archive Museum in Beijing, their latest series draws inspiration from Baroque and Renaissance masters, reinterpreting religious and mythological themes in a modern context. Their pieces, characterized by classical yet contemporary execution, often surprise viewers with unexpected elements, showcasing figures with striking poses and expressions.

Their harmonious color palettes and intriguing compositions create a vibrant, modern aesthetic that exudes both vitality and strength.

In 2023, they were awarded the 1st International Donatello Prize in Florence and were also featured in the Contemporary Celebrity Masters Catalogue 2023 and the Modern MUSA Art Catalogue 2022. In January 2024, they received the international Botticelli Prize in Florence from the Effetto Arte Foundation. They are featured in the Contemporary Celebrity Masters Vol. 1 2024 catalogue curated by Salvatore Russo and in the Effetto Arte Foundation’s catalogue for the Botticelli Prize.
