Tellus Vituz, born Tor Petter Tobru in 1984, is a Norwegian figurative artist who changed his name in 2018 to mark a new chapter in his artistic journey.

With a formal education from prestigious institutions such as The Florence Academy of Art and Asker Kunstfagskole, Vituz has developed a style that combines classical technique with contemporary themes.

Earlier in his career, Vituz painted with an almost photorealistic precision, focusing primarily on still life. These works were characterized by meticulous attention to composition and carefully selected elements, showcasing his technical mastery and keen eye for detail.

Today, Vituz’s focus has shifted towards portraiture and narrative painting, using his art to reflect on contemporary issues. His works go beyond decorative purposes, aiming instead to explore complex themes such as human struggle, social challenges, and emotional depth. Paintings like *Rebellion* and Moments of Loss invite the viewer to engage and reflect, highlighting his evolution from a classical to a more expressive and thematically driven practice. Vituz has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including in New York, Sweden, and Norway, and received three awards from the American Art Awards.
