Marcel Munz, born in 1986 in the picturesque Swiss city of Schaffhausen, is an artist and musician who grew up in an environment shaped by music and creativity. Early exposure to a variety of musical instruments fueled his curiosity and desire to experiment.

His musical journey led him to perform in over 1,000 concerts worldwide, solidifying his place in the music scene. After intensive drum studies in Paris, he proudly represented the Roland drum brand in 2012, reaching the finals of the prestigious V-Drum World Championship in Los Angeles. Over the years, he has toured with the musician Damian Lynn, with whom he won the “Best Talent” Swiss Music Award. He has also been a support act for world-renowned stars such as Justin Bieber, Nelly Furtado, Norah Jones, Stefanie Heinzmann and Brian Adams.

In 2020, his artistic side emerged with the vision of transforming music into abstract art, which he calls “MUSIC TRANSCENDS ART” (MUTREA). In his creative process, he channels rhythm and sound through his body, transferring it onto a wooden canvas with his hands. Each piece is made from sustainable materials and features a unique blend of sound and color.
