Mirsada Vejselaj is a Kosovo-born contemporary artist based in Marburg, Germany. Born in Peja and living in Germany for almost three decades, she has maintained her own studio in Marburg since 2017 and has developed her artistic practice independently over more than seventeen years. Her experience between Kosovo and Germany, together with her work in art therapy, informs a practice attentive to memory, emotional experience, and cultural transition.

Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, Vejselaj combines colour with sand, structure paste, and other tactile materials. Her intuitive process moves between abstraction and organic association, exploring inner and outer nature through themes of memory, earth, energy, light, and transformation. Layering, dripping, and textured surfaces create a strong physical presence, while her expanding practice also includes sculptural works and installations.

Her work has been presented in regional and international contexts. Recent appearances include Rituali Contemporanei at the CAM Museum in Casoria, Italy, a museum exhibition in Greiz, and presentations in Iphofen and Prishtina in 2026, alongside participation in international art symposia in Kosovo. Her works are also held in private collections across Europe.
