Edita Abrink is a self-taught artist whose journey into painting began as a long-held dream that found its way into reality in 2022. Born in Lithuania and living in Sweden since 2010, she runs a cleaning business together with her husband. Despite the challenges of managing a full-time job, Edita has carved out time to pursue her deep passion for art.

Her artistic journey began in October 2022, painting nature scenes, and quickly evolved in January 2023 when she discovered fluid art—a technique that captured her heart and creative spirit. With no formal training, she taught herself everything from color mixing to materials and pouring techniques through online platforms such as YouTube.

Edita’s creative process is entirely intuitive. She never plans a painting in advance; instead, colors, shapes, and movements arise spontaneously from within. Painting provides her with a sense of inner peace, emotional release, and joy. In her own words, it brings her into a world where she can truly be herself—where her soul “dances with joy.”

Her work is an expression of her emotions, life experiences, and resilience. Through her paintings, Edita shares her personal journey while also aiming to inspire others to follow their own creative paths, regardless of background or circumstance.
